Different aspects of Turkish cinema continued to be addressed within the scope of the Turkish Cinema Summer School with the participation of 23 young filmmakers from 20 different countries. The programme was held in Turkey, in which many aspects of Turkish cinema were addressed, from the birth of Turkish cinema to Yeşilçam cinema and popular Turkish cinema.
The group of young filmmakers who were in Istanbul for the Turkish Cinema Summer School took a visit to the Center of Turkish Cinema Studies, which houses comprehensive archives and research compilations on Turkish cinema.
Among the programs held at the Dragos campus of İstanbul Şehir University for the Turkish Cinema Summer School, famous names of Turkish cinema were hosted.
Another topic handled by the Turkish Cinema Summer School was the Turkish television series; the shining pearls in Turkey’s exports market.
